In My Bullet Journal This Month:
What worked:
- Bright colours which gave a consistent look to the month, irrespective of how much time I had to create a layout
- The Derwent colouring pencils – one of my new favourite things
- Done lists – instead of creating a To-do list each day, I wrote a weekly list of tasks and then assigned them to the day after I’d already completed them. Cheating? Yes, probably. But also very very satisfying.
What didn’t work
- I loved the colouring pencils, I really did. But quick to use, they were not. The pigment was excellent and I loved the vibrancy they brought to my pages this month but I have to admit that to achieve the look I wanted took time. One of the reasons I love brush pens so much is that it’s easy to create impact with a single swoosh.
